Catherine and Kenneth’s wedding day started very differently for us. This was because Catherine had requested a more traditional style wedding video, she loved to watch her parent’s wedding video and wanted to be able to have the same experience in watching hers. We were more than happy to work with her to make the video of her dreams. We started by arriving at her ceremony, a stunning little church in Ballymena. Catherine wanted to be able to see her guests arriving so after taking some drone shots of the stunning church we set about capturing the excitement as everyone started arriving at the church including the man of the hour Kenneth.

From this point, much of the day went on as many other weddings would, after the ceremony we took a stop along a road with stunning views across to Slemish mountain. Catherine, Kenneth, and their entire wedding party were great to work with, posing in the middle of the road, and just having a laugh, it really showed how your wedding photos do not need to be stressful.

After this, it was back to their venue, The Wool Tower at Raceview Mill. This was our first time capturing a wedding in this venue, and I now cannot wait to get back. The main room had an amazing rustic feel with wooden beams running across the roof and a hardwood floor, the tower was surrounded by amazing gardens with a river and lots of room for the guest to soak up the atmosphere and the sun on a stunning day.

Needless to say, this venue sits high on my lists of favorites, I cannot wait to capture a wedding there again.
